Intro to Wet Plate Photography In this one-day intensive workshop, participants will learn how to create in-camera tintypes using the wet collodion process. This workshop will focus on tintype photography, where a unique positive is created in-camera on a 4”x5” sheet of blackened metal. Students will learn the history of the process, techniques of preparing the plate, pouring collodion, exposing, developing, fixing, and varnishing. Participants will work outdoors with natural lighting. The cameras, chemicals, and materials will all be supplied. Date: TBA
